VIDEOGRAPHY
I have 5 years of experience creating videos from pre to post production and utilize my background in multimedia learning, design thinking and art. Here are some featured projects that showcase my style in creating explainer, talking head and youtube videos.
Dec 2024, I directed, produced and edited "The Land Around Us", a documentary film about people's relationships with land. Used a backwards design framework to set up objectives and facilitated interviews with 4 experts. Did all post production of editing, sound design, and graphics.
Sept 2023- Created this 8 minute video for Alveus Sanctuary, a nonprofit animal sanctuary pioneering online conservation education using the Twitch platform, about their animal ambassador Fenn. Using voiceover and Alveus stream and video content, I produced this video (video design, editing, animations, sound effects).
Jan 2023- Started my own educational Youtube channel, focusing on accessible nature appreciation and science communication. I do all the video design, production, post-production and social media posts.
Insect Explainer Video
Created an explainer video on 'What is An Insect?' targeted towards 3rd-5th grade students as Educational Multimedia Producer. We first created a storyboard, wrote out a script, created assets and edited the video with educators and scientists. I led the production of this video remotely, using a more animated style with Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Scientist Spotlight Videos
Created a series of scientist spotlight videos featuring scientists who worked with the National Museum of Natural History. This was a remote project done during the COVID 19 pandemic period. I helped collaborate with scientists, found video assets, designed motion graphics and edited the videos.
