FEATURED PROJECTS
Designing interactive learning experiences digitally and in-person, using a human centered design framework.
TACTILE THINKER ACTIVITY
Collaborators: Rui Huang, Adam Sparks
Our team collaborated with the Cantor Arts Center to create an art experience accessible for visitors with low vision. We consulted with museum professionals and our target audience from the Blind Posse to inform our work. We utilized user personas, researched solutions, prototyped and tested our prototype. We collaboratively created a tactile experience where visitors can listen to an audio description guiding them through experiencing the 3D replica through touch.
GUID EXPLORABLE WITH IDIGBIO
Collaborators: Molly Phillips, Cat Chapman, Katie Pearson
I worked with iDigBio over the summer to create educational resources on GUIDs targeted towards collection professionals. I led a team remotely to create the resource, consulting content experts to create learning objectives and a storyboard of the GUID explorable. I then used figma to design and create the interactive explorable and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create illustrations. We were able to iterate on feedback throughout the process, drawing on instructional design principles.
